Job Description Set up workstations with required ingredients, cooking equipment and utensils. Prepare and cut ingredients for cooking, including vegetables, meat, seafood and other food items. Prepare and cook menu dishes according to company recipes and standards. Ensure food is prepared with consistent taste, quality and presentation. Adjust food preparation according to customers’ specific requests, including dietary requirements and allergies. Ensure proper portioning, plating and presentation before serving. Season food according to recipes and company standards. Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use. Ensure all food and ingredients are stored properly. Maintain a clean, sanitized and organized kitchen environment as per SFA requirement Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor/management when ingredients are running low. Minimize food wastage and maintain proper food cost control. Assist with stock-taking and food inventory when required. Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management. Job Requirements Knowledge of Chinese cooking procedures, methods and techniques. Relevant experience in a Chinese restaurant or kitchen is preferred. Good communication skills and ability to work well with the kitchen team. Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Able to remain calm and focused during busy periods. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Proactive, enthusias
